Q.	What type of memberships are offered?
A.	Golf, Social, Trial Golf and Trial Social (all categories have limited availability)  Memberships are non-equity.
Q.	Do Social members have access to the golf course?
A.	Only as a guest of a golf member and not more than six times per year.  As a guest you, or your host, are subject to the guest fees in effect at the time.
Q.	What privileges do golf members have?
A.	Golf members have access to all club amenities. (golf, practice areas, fitness, swim, golf shop and dining)
Q.	Will there be assessments for capital improvements or operational deficits?
A.	No, the membership plan specifically states that no assessments will be made to the membership.
Q.	Do you have to be a resident of Ballantrae to be a member?
A.	No.  However, there are limited memberships available at this time.
Q.	As a purchaser of a new residential unit from Penn-Florida will I be required to be a member?
A.	Yes.  The clubhouse lodge units and the townhomes on the 17th hole will require that you be a golf member. The waterfront condominiums will require that you are minimally a social member and golf membership is optional.
Q.	How many members will there be when the club is complete?
A.	395 golf members and unlimited social members.
Q.	Is there a minimum in the dining room?
A.	Yes.  $1,000 per year that includes all food and beverage.  Annual requirement, not monthly or quarterly.
Q.	When will the new clubhouse be started?
A.	We anticipate that the new clubhouse will be in construction in 2012
Q.	May I own my own golf cart?
A.	Yes if you live in the townhomes on the 17th hole but no if you live in one of the condominiums.  Should you purchase an existing home you may have a private cart, assuming a membership is available to you.
